Feather 3D is an interesting step, Grease Pencil could adopt that, but SDF modeling stuff is also interesting. Directed 3D AI primitif and doodles could be the key. Plasticity is already awesome for CAD stuff.

I learned 3d because I'd do anything to avoid drawing perspective. Lol.
