Yea that's the subfloor, the flooring flooring has been removed and this person finished the wood that was not meant to be seen. That's why there are so many knots and the boards have gaps, the base trim doesn't even touch it.

I guess you didn’t watch it

💪If you're seeing this, it must mean you support Trump. 👏 Let us help you show it. ✅ Classic, Tough, Real American Gear Here:

“Watch as i put a ton of work into turning subfloor into a crappy looking finished floor.” Baseboard is still at the height of the original floor, the finished project won’t be very smooth because of the nail holes and corse grain. Don’t do this folks. Just put down new flooring

I wonder how that will handle expansion and contraction? I would like to see a video in a year.

Was it originally the subfloor?

Men would say: who ripped up a perfectly good floor and cost me 10k?

That is wonderful, what happens when expansion and contraction happens and the wood can't move because the gaps were filled?

No, not so much. That's like people staining their concrete slabs and thinking it looks good.

Ah yes, floor buffers. This brings back basic training memories now.

Hell yea
