Here an explanation of a typical cycle of 28 days 📽️ by Now Trending

Great Video! For more context, the menstrual cycle has four phases: menstrual, follicular, ovulation, and luteal. - The menstrual phase is when the lining of the uterus (endometrium) is shed through the vagina as menstrual blood. This phase lasts for about 3 to 7 days, and marks the beginning of the cycle. - The follicular phase is when the pituitary gland releases follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which stimulates the growth of follicles in the ovaries. Each follicle contains an immature egg. One of the follicles will become dominant and produce more estrogen, which thickens the endometrium. This phase ends with a surge of luteinizing hormone (LH), which triggers ovulation. The follicular phase lasts for about 11 to 27 days, depending on the cycle length. - The ovulation phase is when the dominant follicle releases a mature egg, which travels through the fallopian tube towards the uterus. This is the most fertile phase of the cycle, as the egg can be fertilized by sperm. Ovulation usually occurs around day 14 of a 28-day cycle, but it can vary depending on the cycle length and individual factors. The ovulation phase lasts for about 24 hours. - The luteal phase is when the ruptured follicle transforms into a structure called the corpus luteum, which secretes progesterone. Progesterone maintains the endometrium and prepares it for implantation of a fertilized egg. If fertilization does not occur, the corpus luteum degenerates and the levels of estrogen and progesterone drop, leading to the next menstrual phase. This phase lasts for about 14 days, and is relatively constant in length.

Wow‼️ what a amazing

It's incredible to see how the different phases of the cycle are reflected in the changing levels of hormones and cells in the body - it's like a complex choreography that's constantly playing out in the background.

@H1abibaAhmed12 منهجنا عامل حوارات كتير ليه الموضوع بسيط اهو

👏👏👍Wow! And our Biology teacher didn’t even touch upon the reproduction lesson saying “I am sure you guys know more than me.”I knew nothing, 🥲but after the class my friends got together and put their hearts and mind in schooling me; I was surprised they were geniuses, they knew everything. Mam was right 🙏😂😂
