Despite everything Butcher put him through, Hughie was there for him. Even after everyone else left him, Hughie was by Butcher's side. He truly was a brother to him.

What an incredible ending to Butcher and Hughie's friendship.

"Yew really ah... thspitnnallny."

That line "I dont know what to do" is perfect for Butcher's character. After years, he finally avenged his wife and killed Homelander, but he still has nothing. His relationship with Ryan is too broken, Hughie is starting family, and Terror dies. Hes confused and scared.
