mermaid cyberdeck built 🧜‍♀️ 🐚

I built a custom TUI for it so I can chat w my local llm, and my local llm has a custom mcp server so the ai can do stuff like server maintenance, inbox cleanup, file organization

using this keyboard with actual buttons, can confirm iPhone keyboard is 1000% gaslighting with the typos

people asking where to get this, I built it. I’m working on a cyberdeck build tutorial so you can follow along 💖

considering options for my next cyberdeck build

ugh FINALLY

I am OBSESSED

thank you 😊

How’d you get the white shell on the keyboard?

it came like that but it’s def 3d printed

Omg how do I acquire one

its a crime thatthese types of creative and artistic decices aren't put out there to sell.. i would love to purchase it 😭

it’s cuz they’re cost prohibitive to sell 🥲

oh my gosh thats depressing 😔....well it shouldn't be that way.. it should be done easily without issues 😭 i want a seashell purse freaking phone dang it.

This is beautiful. 🩷 Were you inspired by the clamshell reader from It Follows? This is even better, BTW. But there's a whole subpopulation here that has been lusting over that thing for years now.

I’ve never seen It Follows! but people keep referencing it

Oh man, you're in for a treat. Saw it in theaters & was blown away at the freshness of the storyline & believeability of jump-scares based on a budget of only 1.3 million. Also, sequel in development so not a bad time to check it out. Clamshell reader shows up in first 15 min.

Shell coding has never been more stylish

Are you her by any chance?

can u play doom on it

Nice work! Cool to see you got the BB keyboard working.

Iktr women in stem

Awh I thought it was gonna be the clamshell e-reader from It Follows

👀

what keyboard is it using is that from some old phone? this is awesome

it’s a blackberry keyboard

how do you get it to work with the cyberdeck?

it connects via Bluetooth

This belongs in an art exhibit

It reminds me of my old school BlackBerry. I would purchase this in a heartbeat.

Ugh now I need to make one someday
