Merz: We were incredibly lucky. A drone carrying explosives came within a hair’s breadth of causing a catastrophe at Leipzig Airport. Two aircraft were nearby and partly fueled. By sheer chance, the drone failed to detonate on final approach; otherwise there would have been a major inferno. 2X
