This choice allows us to use the same high-quality assets for cinematic TV, movies, and games, reducing costs and enhancing consistency. - Asset Reuse: By developing assets once for high-quality output, we can use them across comics, games, and animations. This method, similar to what was done in "Arcane," involves hand-painting over 3-D models for a unique look. - Cost and Efficiency: This approach isn't common due to its difficulty and the need for story consistency. However, it allows for smarter production, echoing the methods of visionaries like Disney and Hanna-Barbera, ensuring we can sustain and grow our IP like Pokémon. Current Status: - Pre-production: We're well into preproduction, with story development, storyboards, color scripts, and asset creation nearly complete. This groundwork usually takes years but we're ahead. This is because what I listed above are the mangas. Each manga counts as two episodes. Sakuga Over The Years (February 2019) (part 1) KA: Weilin Zhang (張魏林), Hakuyu Go (伍柏諭) Anime: Mob Psycho 100 II (モブサイコ100 II) (episode 5) What happens when you have one of the most ambitious teams of young animators at the frontlines of an episode with a good schedule to execute their vision? Well you get what I think is Hakuyu Go’s best work as an episode director and what I think is one of the best looking anime episodes of all time in Mob season 2 episode 5. The episode is a full on sakuga fest but this is one of the two scenes I wanted to highlight. Like highlighting Kameda’s scene recently, the timing is a bit unfortunate with the recent things that Zhang has said, but I do think he is (not objectively THE best but) ONE OF the best animators of this generation and you can see that in 0:02 with the sheer level of volume control and fabric animation and some really wild effects. I’m not 100% sure where Zhang and Go’s parts are specifically but I think up to 0:14 is Zhang and the rest might be Go.

In my career, I've spent over $100,000 commissioning artists and animators. I held a fundraiser for animators in Japan. I've given graphic tablets to artists in need. I promote young animators that I think are talented without asking for anything in return. I created an original series (Demon Rush), with 15 manga chapters and 2 animated promo episodes- all original art and animation. Spent 4 years on it, but was not recognized for doing it the true hard way. In my latest video, I hired 3 animators and paid them well for their cuts. People on X are upset that I used AI to speed up the process in the fan animation, even though in the 4 update videos leading up to it, I was completely open about how I was using it. The same people who complained about Saitama vs Cosmic Garou having too many impact frames for their liking. I don't care about these people. They complain about literally everything. I make these for fun, not to impress anyone. Even if I spent 10 years making the best episode possible, 100% hand done, these guys would still complain. I did that before with Demon Rush. In any case, this was my last animated video. I am retiring from anime and moving onto other things, so you won't have to worry about me.

Here's my first series of Anime created by Generative AI. Vidu 2.0 is a groundbreaking advancement for storytelling in the Anime style. #vidu @Viduforhuman Hi everyone 😊 😉 Here's my first AI-created Anime series. The name of my anime is Kuro & Yuki. I won't spoil the story for you, but it begins with these two boys locked up in what appears to be a highly secure institute/prison. Yuki has reached the age where he has awakened his power. While wandering the corridors of the institute, he meets Kuro, a boy with autism. It's a fleeting encounter as they end up being separated. As the story unfolds, you'll understand who they really are and why they are locked up. I don't plan on making episode 2 yet, even though I've grown attached to my characters' story. I'll continue the story only if a lot of people are interested and want to know what happens next. Otherwise, I'll explore other universes and styles of Anime 😉 Tools: - Epidemic Sound (For sound effects) - Vidu AI (to transform frames into animation) - ElevenLabs (for certain expressions) When I say Vidu 2.0 is a game-changer, I mean it. I had already made my animation with the previous version of Vidu, but when they gave me access to the beta, I urgently changed my plans and recreated all the animations. Let me tell you, it's a whole new level. My first animation was ultra frustrating to bring my ideas to life! Really! And since Vidu couldn't handle many image styles, I clearly couldn't bring my ideas to life. But with Vidu 2.0, I enjoy it much more! For the first time, I really get to bring my ideas to life! Until now, I always had to make compromises. Of course, Vidu is still not perfect, and there are still many obstacles, but it is a truly magnificent advancement! (and it surpasses all the Anime-style AIs I've tested recently) Moreover, Vidu 2.0 is fantastic for special effects, but also for embedding elements into the video (like a hand that appears and interacts with the character, or another character; and the best part is that they perfectly match the style of the original images!) * The animations/images and voices are AI-generated * The SoundDesign is traditional and done by me * The story was entirely written by me (I don't use AI to create my stories, it's important to me to write them myself) The voices were generated thanks to Nijivoice (for secondary characters) and Hailuo Audio (for main characters). I thank Yachimat (yachimat - AI Short Anime) for introducing me to Nijivoice, it's very generous of him!
