It is well Mr President, I hope you'll also push Zesco to settle the huge outstanding debt owed to Maamba Collieries. As Maamba cannot produce without liquidity. Maamba is just being careful not to add more debt to Zesco. Maamba is not a problem, the challenge lies with zesco.

@HHichilema Mr President, perhaps our government should consider generating electricity from renewable resources such as solar, geothermal and wind, these generally do not contribute to climate change or air pollution cause no fuels are combusted.

Mr President are u seriously telling the country tht NO one saw this coming like really, for it to be an emergency issue now?have looked at the water level graph for Kariba dam it was evident something was abt to happen, & appropriate measures could have been taken in time.

He looks tired lol must everything be handled by the president? ZESCO Board? IDC? Minister of Energy etc? Anyway at least every serious issue the people bring up is addressed. It may be reactionary but still action nonetheless. Something I personally appreciate

Ma stories yama visitations niyanu boss.. Just find a solution 🙄

Boss, people are not telling you the truth...

In the LR, we need a well diversified energy mix as a country! However, in the SR we need to take necessary remedies such as cutting exports & clearing the arrears, for example those owed to Maamba Thermal Plan for it to begin producing to its full capacity of circa 630MW👍

Thank you Mr. President, perhaps for the long run we may also look at making each province self sufficient with either hydro or solar power, we have engineers who can do some research on this noting the amount of water bodies we have I'm various provinces across the country

Hahahaha... I'm really finding it hard to buy this electricity emergency y'all selling.. ~ 5 months ago electricity generation capacity was at ~ 3,456.8MW against a peak national demand of ~ 2,300MW... quit playing these pr stunts and focus on the real issues at MOH..
