A girl was almost suffocated stampeded into a train coach and she was running out of breath. The crowd on the platform was laughing and mocking her. What do you call such behavior? Dear Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji Ministry of Railways RailwaySeva Every festival the surge at railway stations and people entering trains without tickets surges, the mob rules the trains Why cant we have access control to railway stations at least during festival season and especially known stations which have massive crowds trying to get into trains. Deploy CRPF etc at such stations during festival peak at selected stations and have access control for them during the peak I Dont think its an impossible task...

Flooding issue resolved in 70% of the identified areas of Bengaluru, remaining to be fixed soon. We had identified 210 areas as flood prone in Bengaluru. Ever since I took over as the Bengaluru Development Minister, we have fixed flooding issues in 166 (70%) of those localities. Flood prevention work is currently going on in 24 areas while work would soon be taken up in the remaining 20 areas. We have built 197 km of storm water drains. Traffic police have identified 132 spots which are flooded during heavy rains. Of these, we have rectified issues in 82 spots and 41 spots are yet to be fixed. We are spending Rs 2000 crore for storm water drains. Rain is controlled by nature while we can only try to control the controllables. We are rectifying flood-prone areas and are trying to help the common people. Quantum of rainfall has been very high in Silk Board junction, Hebbal and Yelahanka area. Underpass works are underway in a couple of places in these areas and they have been flooded. We will work with those departments to resolve these issues. - My statements to the media during the press meet at the BBMP War Room earlier today. #BengaluruRains

Britain's grid engineers are sounding the alarm. NESO insiders, the people responsible for keeping the lights on, say operators have "lost control of the system" and that a major blackout is now an "engineering certainty." One whistleblower said, "We're flying blind with the plane on fire." Engineers claim repeated safety breaches have been concealed and that NESO is rerunning its models to declare the incident secure after the fact. The problem is structural. Britain has replaced large controllable power stations with thousands of weather-dependent wind, solar and battery installations, many of which the control room cannot properly see or control. Engineers must now balance the grid in real time using incomplete information. They say they have been asking Ofgem to intervene for two years, but nothing happened... "So we have told the world," say the whistleblowers. Quote: "We don't have control of the system. We have tried our best. It's now over to the public and the regulator. Please help."
