People forget #Meta bought the #Oculus company from #LuckyPalmer who already did the hard work in developing VR 🤷‍♂️ they just had to perfect the hardware once components got small enough to do so.

What nobody really says about Meta’s new VR glasses is that the heavy lifting isn’t in the glasses at all. The glasses are mostly just the screens. The processor, battery, and storage are in a separate box you carry in your pocket or clip to your clothes, and they have to stay tethered to it with a cable.
