Finally a character rig that doesnt force you through Unity's import hell or Unreal's C++ bloat. Meta shipping this in pure Python with PyTorch and NumPy in the loop means you can train motion models and deploy the avatar in the same Jupyter notebook. If this supports real-time IK and physics without a game engine backend, the indie pipeline collapses entirely. Unity and Epic should be worried.

We took it further — launched it with a single command, no terminal, no setup. Our AI agent wrote the code, fixed the shaders for Apple Silicon, and recorded this demo automatically. This is Extella running AI4Animation. One command. Zero code.

Would've been dope if its commercially usable, but still cool. Do you know if this can be used for every game eninge?

This is just a migration of Sebastian Starke's work finally without the Unity centric run time. Been studying it for a while now.

Impressive, but can we make it do a decent rendition of a Bollywood dance without needing PyTorch?

Pure Python 3D animation with just PyTorch and numpy? Love it, Meta just made our lives way way easier.

curious how well it handles custom character rigs, or is it mostly optimized for humanoid models?

ファーストビューは見た目以上の役割がある MetaのツールはまさにUSPが明確な設計 AIモーションという「味付け」が 3Dキャラの魅力を一層引き立てている構造 デザインは盛り付けと味の絶妙なバランスと似てる
