(2/2) +There’s other properties that complicate this like a trample/transcendent hitbox @BtmTier also has brought to light that specifically the downward variant of Mac f smash is active for 1 frame LOL (this was an oversight in testing), so that would allow him to do this too.

@FawnAFK oh my this is fascinating so basically the opponent is being sent into rebound while normally because you're exceeding the 8-9% (i forgot which) threshold your move continues as normal but there is no hitbox after since it's only one frame so u can just punish their rebound??

Yeah! I actually labbed this one too beforehand, it’s inconsistent and gimmicky unfortunately- f smash 2 comes around to ruin it a lot + the first hitbox does so little damage that it gets so little stun in the case this actually happens
