It's amazing to watch the "magical" side of science.

Cool. We used Nickel titanium in some of the very first VATS Procedures during heart surgery back in the mid 90’s. Would get the retractor cold and fold it up to get in the hole. The body temp would expand it. Flush with cold water and pull it out.
