I saw a greenish orb-like light appear and disappear just above where we saw a fireball incinerate/break apart over us in Malibu Canyon (CA) on July 6 at about 9:10pm. Is there any sort of naturally occurring explanation for that? I’ve never seen a round light in the sky just disappear like that.

Fireballs like the one in this video can look like they change direction when they break apart in the atmosphere. Mexican scientists said it was a fireball that explodes in the air and not a meteorite. There is no scientific evidence of UFO intervention.

It is possible that it broke into a smaller meteor of lesser mass while hitting Earth's atmosphere, which is why it looked like a helping hand. Don't fix Alien possiblity in meteor please.

With CGI, AI etc, we can never rely on the validity of any online video. The internet is a laughing stock. I will only "believe" a video if it comes straight from the original video recorder source on a microUSB or similar. Even that can be faked. Any copy can be altered, faked.

Astroids have been known to literally bounce off the earths atmosphere. They are moving slow enough and the density down here is thick enough that it’s the same principle of skipping a rock on water.

Probably bounced of the atmosphere here and that think is probably mostly ice or space trash. As it comes down the air is way more dense/thicker. The other crap prob is something that broke off of it or just a stupid coincidence satellite etc.
