Overall I think it’s very beneficial, but people need to make sure the product is tested for heavy metals and use with care. Since it raises serotonin, anyone on an SSRI should not be using it. I think of it as a holistic medication that needs thoughtful use.

I was on SSRIs for 20+ yrs & I was harmed...they do not heal depression, they only medicate & cause harmful side effects. 💗Depression needs to be healed, not medicated. The ketogenic carnivore diet & key natural supplements completely heals depression. Methylene blue & other key supplements, along with a ketogenic diet will allow sufferers to heal & go off of SSRIs. Raising serotonin is a good thing, raising serotonin heals depression.

I’ve read many posts attesting to the health benefits of Methylene Blue. However, just 5 minutes ago, someone we all know as an expert on the gut microbiome posted she is not a fan of MB. Her lab work indicates it detracts from the gut microbiome. So it’s a NO for me.

It impacts serotonin so people on SSRI's and people who have mental and emotional issues should be careful. Meraki Blue I think is the brand I had my wife try. Neither of us really liked how we felt on it. I know that the guy who sells it seems to truly believe in it - and felt like it helped him recover from his TBI's from being in the UFC.

I don't always agree with Dr Paul Saladino, but he makes a good point about Methylene blue. Besides, I don't want my brain to be dyed blue :)

@NutriDetect has a thing or two to say about the safety of this newest trend. We really do need to get to the point where we are secure in food being enough for our nutritional needs.

Decided not to try as too many others warning against it.

only in moderation like most things
