I went to the Metro a few times and it was absolutely brilliant. Montrose to Saltcoats and back was a fair journey. I ended up at parties in Kilwinning, Ardrossan and other places. This was the record that was playing when I walked in the first time

I was a Mardi Gras punter, used to talk about going there for ages, I think there was a bus from the back of St Enochs, a lot of hard core dancers at the metro. Get a time machine that’s the first stop Eckie chins, here we fucken go

Thats the year it all started for me. Went to the understand and back home to get changed into a new shirt and tan a bottle of shite cider and back out to the overs for the next madness. Fun times.
