ok so like I'm genuinely out of the loop, what's the big issue with prime 4? the game isn't even out yet.

Cringe worthy quippy sidekick characters that remove the tension and atmosphere that made Metroid so great.. that’s the issue.

Yeah the dialogue is mildly cringy but it seems like it's only in 2 or 3 cutscenes.

It’s in the gameplay, while you play they talk to you and never shut up, look up MP4 gameplay on YouTube

I saw this one not too long ago and I think it looks fine. The guy everyone complains about only said like one thing. Plus the game looks fun, the music is good. ig I'm just not one of those people that gets vitriolically angry over mildly cheesy dialogue? idk

at first it's seems a smart way to give guidance to players but for people who need guidance this is not enough for people who don't need it this is already way too annoying 😓
