Great game back in the day, we put weeks into beating it. Excellent soundtrack and the atmosphere was isolated and creepy af.

One of my favorite video game series. Loved the first game and Super Metroid.

Seems to have a lot of naysayers on YouTube these days, but I still love it as-is. If you started with Super Metroid, you had no idea what it meant to revisit the planet Zebes. The place seemed dead, but the second that spotlight/camera turned on after the elevator?

Even with audio off I can hear the intro. Already want to walk reverse the side scroll.

Love the music. I never got to complete this one. But I did complete Metroid 2 on thr GB. Then Super Metroid is still one of my all time favouritrs. 🦊

Probably my favorite game of all time. Spent countless hours looking for hidden passages, bombing my way up walls, etc. The NES Advantage controller made it so much easier to play. The best of times!

The game that invented satisfying. And way too much time was devoted to it.
