There are situations if you know the outcome and you really want to try to get that outcome or if you were attempting to fail something for a specific reason then you would take other options

I'm buying this game for my quadriplegic friend who can only play turn based. Is it possible to have an option to make timed things (like ADHD timer) slowed down significantly for ppl like him? Thx!

WAIT could you have taken needle shot on the hunter and just spam it on your cat with brace (for no damage) and just get a bunch of thorns each turn?
