Absolute carnage in Wembley today. According to locals, an elderly driver was trying to pull out of a parking spot, got his foot stuck on the accelerator, and completely lost control of his vehicle. He managed to uproot a whole tree, flatten a parking sign, and smash into a parked car before finally coming to a stop. Thankfully, it looks like nobody was walking on the pavement at the time! 🤯

We’re about 24 hours removed from the Mexican military operation targeting El Mencho. Here’s what we’re seeing: CJNG is lashing out across Mexico. They’re setting up roadblocks to restrict government movement and targeting Mexican security forces in retaliation. They want the Mexican people to be scared into submission and beg their government to leave cartels alone. They want uninformed American online influencers to also be scared into submission (I called one out on my stories, for instance). This isn’t just revenge. It’s a power struggle within the cartels. Cartel Lieutenants are competing to consolidate control through violence. Expect instability in the near term. Roadblocks, intimidation, targeted attacks. A new leader possibly emerges or they remain in competing factions. Either way, this is what a criminal terrorist organization under pressure looks like. And we will see if Mexican leadership and the Mexican people cave to it or finally decide to fight it.
