Literally had hot dogs yesterday and I’ve got carnitas in the slow cooker now 😂

Went to the water park yesterday and as we were packing up (it was closed), all the very Mexican employees sang the national anthem and did the pledge of allegiance to the flag before packing up and going home. The park was closed so it wasn't a show, we were the only people left there. It was honestly beautiful.

Not been my experience my Mexican neighbors blared Spanish music on the fourth still rocked the red white and blue tho so that’s acceptable assimilation. We can work on the English as we go I guess 😂

From my experience, this tracks. I know quite a few people of Mexican descent. They love both countries, but Mexico over the USA in soccer. But they also want the USA over other countries in the Cup
