At first I thought this was AI, but it turned out to be a real castle in Russia, and the crazy part is that construction only began in 2007. Garibaldi Castle, despite being a modern project, was designed in the spirit of medieval architecture, blending Renaissance and Victorian influences to create a fantastical, old-world aesthetic.

On Sundays, we post churches. Every empire that ruled Sicily left its mark on the same walls. You’re literally looking at a Byzantine basilica, Arab mosque, a Norman cathedral, a Gothic church, and an 18th-century neoclassical redesign fused into one building. Palermo Cathedral, Italy 🇮🇹
