I like Michael Burry. I actually spent some time with him briefly in ~2006 when he had his subprime CDS trade on and was hemorrhaging carry costs. He was incredibly smart and detailed - no undotted “i” escaped his notice. Burry’s Michael Lewis interview from yesterday is a letdown. Burry seems to have transitioned to full macro and, when pressed, didn’t show his trademark iron grasp of the details on the companies he discussed. Which is fine - he’s likely correct about $PLTR and general overvaluation in U.S. equities. Nothing he said was wrong, per se. But the subject of this interview wasn’t the burning furnace of intensity I met in California 19 years ago. Maybe it was because the topics Lewis focused on were about hedges and Burry’s depth on core holdings is different - I hope he shares more about those over time. All for the good - I suspect the real trade Michael Burry l B.C Cassandra Like Trades is maximizing is enjoying life. If so, good for him. It’s well-earned.

I didn't fully trust Andrew Bridgen when I first saw him speak out in Parliament against the bioweapon, not because of him personally but because he had two little letters after his name: M.P. What I have seen him do since then, and after I studied his previous achievements with his constituency and with the Post Office scandal, makes me incredibly proud as an Englishman. In this often emotional interview, limited by time to an hour, I hope we find out more about him as a man who has not only stood up for all of us at the most important time in history, but has also had the courage to speak out against the actual enemy of humanity: Satan. From the Viper's Pit to Spiritual Warrior: Andrew Bridgen is someone we should be grateful to have. His position in our history is assured, but the fight is not over yet. Send him prayers and support in any way you can. He took them on in the belly of the beast on our behalf with Angels at his side.

How the optics and timing don’t look great for Burry The reality is Burry has an opinion, which in itself is fine, but when people counter that opinion and all your do is either block them or tell them to pay $500 to reread your unfounded opinion then you end up being the one who looks like a grifter. As of today, the “Big Short” looks like the Big Grifter. My take is below:

I pulled out of a Shaun Attwood interview recently due to the way he was handling survivors behind the scenes, his friendly involvement with the Tate Brothers and their Associates, and others he has promoted who have been involved with abuse or actions against survivors. Next thing I know: Shaun Attwood interviews but does not press or challenge Alan Dershowitz at any point on activities against survivors' interests, only asking neutral viewer questions. The tone remains cordial and deferential... Attwood mainly facilitates and thanks Dershowitz "All of his links are in the description if you want to support his important work" Attwood does not: - Question the 2008 non-prosecution agreement's impact on victims (e.g., how it sidelined them under the Crime Victims' Rights Act). - Press on Dershowitz's history of discrediting accusers or helping secure immunity for unnamed co-conspirators. - Challenge minimization of survivor claims or calls to prosecute "liars." - Raise any of the adversarial points common in survivor-focused interviews on his channel. To me, this is disgusting from a so called advocate and in reality, Attwood is profiting from survivors while mishandling them and even promoting people who work against their best interests.
