“Michael Carrick, fantastic player… it doesn’t matter who’s in charge. “The problems at Manchester United are to do with the OWNERSHIP model [The Glazers & INEOS]. Unless that changes, NOTHING is going to change. Just kicking the can down the road” #MUFC [Sky]

1.4 BILLION IN DEBT.. The problem isn't just glineos it's the fans are weak, weak mentality 20 years the glazers have shit on the fans and we take it. The only way to rid this club of the glazers get matches cancelled and hit sponsors. They will crumble #GlazersOut #ineosout

You see them back pedaling when it comes to their own person, before it was the coach that is bad, can’t change formation, wasn’t using maino… now they have focused on the owners because they want to set the narrative before the season begin

In the next few years no kid will want to support this club because latest history will show that Man City, Liverpool & Arsenal are now the top English clubs. Man United will just be another has been due to poor management.

Ultimately, what most journalists and reporters want from #MUFC is an endless source of drama and headlines. So, it serves their purpose to start undermining Carrick now, even before the season has started. That's all this is.

I will always respect @SkyKaveh for calling out these abysmal owners, the club is in massive debt because they refused to fucking pay it. Old Trafford one of the most icon stadiums is rotting and getting knocked down. But hey we bought Santos, someone pls save my club

This was BEFORE Carrick started doing wonders. This was BEFORE the positivity. This was BEFORE the current situation. INEOS are doing a good rebuilding job.

That was before Carrick first game in charge back. I knew we had one of the best squads with worst manager so he proved him wrong as Man Utd won most points in the 17 games he was in charge. He would have won the league easily if he started the season.

He doesn’t know what he is talking about, it is typically a well articulated summary of what others have said already, importantly he only chooses to summarise points which aren’t constructive at all.

ABSOLUTE FACTS!!! BUT RACISM AND GREED KEEPS THEM IN PLACE!!! WE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET RID OF THEM!!! BUT THE “WHITE” OF THE FANBASE CHOSE @INEOS AND WE REMAIN STRANGLE HELD BY THE SAME OLE, SAME OLE STRATEGY!!! THE PARASITES REMAIN AND THE TRICKLE CONTINUES TO HAPPEN!!!

Honest opinion. We had sink so deep that we no longer fight to recruit the best players. Best players usually meant big money and big wages. Instead we have fans rooting for the nonesense excuse the owners and management comes up with.

Not saying there aren't problems with Galzers/ineos, far from it but having seen Kaveh's coverage when Qatar tried to buy United, his defence of Qatar world cup and general support for gulf state investment in global sport, I wouldn't be quick to be taking his word for it.

There are two issues at United. On-field performance and financial challenges. The Glazers had no plan in place immediately Sir Alex retired. The Glazers also made another mistake by not supporting Woodward with a Director of Football. There was a clear disconnect between on-field performance and commercial success. Woodward was unable to merge both. Poor on-field performance fester for so long and before Woodward could realize that both are required for long term sustainability, COVID came and eat into the club's profit and cashflow. The Super League was an idea conceived by Woodward to expand revenue for European top flight club, but it never materialized and then he had to resign. INEOS, the new football management team is now forced to act prudent or risk the downfall of United. The season is very critical for United and Berrada, the CEO, has indicated this in his recent public interview.
