Rio, do you like the style of play Man Utd's style under Carrick? Sir Alex always used to say Man Utd is about giving the working class people something exciting to look forward to and talk about on Mondays at work. There is NOTHING exciting about Carrick's style.

In January would you have taken this?

Profilbild von FergiesRightRef
FergiesRightRefvor 5 Monaten

I am not arguing about the results. The results are excellent. But this is Man Utd. You know this. It's more than just results. Look at PSG and Bayern. They have results but there is a STYLE. There is no style with Carrick. It's mostly Bruno saving us here and there.

Profilbild von horla 🇩🇪

You’re comparing us to PSG and Bayern based on style of play but did PSG’s coach completely transform everything in six months? Clearly not, especially if you watched their first season. So how can you judge our style when Carrick only took over in January? He needs to be given the opportunity

@Olarrr122 @RioMeets Luis Enrique had a pedigree. Luis Enrique had a philosophy. Carrick doesn't have one. From no club.

@RioMeets Luis Enrique has the pedigree, no doubt. But he had to start somewhere too. So would you really rather we finish the season, let Carrick go, and bring in who exactly?

Profilbild von FergiesRightRef

@Olarrr122 @RioMeets This is now elite sports or companirs work. 'You don't start somewhere'. That is low life thinking.

You done this for Ole. Soon as the players have him in permanently they’ll all go back to poor standards and running the club.

Rio honestly mate where were you last Monday when we lost screaming he needs to get the job, please the style of football is not long term and you ain’t looking at the bigger picture but just the fact that he’s your mate !

Love Carrick but I think he’s not a great tactically. If Enrique wins the UCL again at PSG, then I don’t see any reason why he has to continue there. We surely can persuade him. Nagglesman is a very good shout as well.

If we can't get Enrique we should go for Nagelsmann. Carrick should never been given the job permanently.

I see many people saying Nagelsmann, I personally would stick with Carrick, back him heavily in the summer, rather than someone who is not PL proven

You guys should try and keep quite at some point Carrick is doing good job as interim manager “Yesss” Will he win us the league ? No !! What we need is a manager that can win us the league !

Profilbild von Sarath

Another Ole like results based impulsive decision without looking at the underlying metrics. The results have been good, but the football since the Arsenal game has been an eyesore. Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results. Get Nagelsmann. End of.

🚨Spot on @rioferdy5 @RioMeets — Carrick has earned it. But the real question isn’t “who else?” — it’s whether the board has the balls to back him properly next season with a full squad. He’s shown the fire. Now give him the tools. More to follow. #MUFC #mufc

Same thing you did when Ole was interim manager, how did it go? This is the real definition of insanity. Despite the results we have been terrible to watch and soon the luck will run out. We could have lost that match if not the woodwork.

Carrick is not good enough if we are a serious club... We are where we are because Chelsea and Liverpool are not good enough and Tottenham is getting relegated... This is Ole 2.0

In all honesty,Carrick has done a good job as interim, he deserves his flowers. But to sit here and forget his average coaching career as a permanent manager would be burrying our heads in the sand. He lacks tactical spine tbf. We can’t have Ole 2.0

It’s not about a new manager for me - that just brings huge expectation and gives the media a new plaything Gonna lose a few heads in the summer, so for me it’s about bringing in the right players to push to the next level A new manager might want a new young expensive CB, all but kills of heavens chances of succeeding Right now Carrick is keeping it nice and level headed - no theatrics, no media whinging about this that and the other If he gets top 5 there’s no reason why we should bring in someone else Managing United is a tough gig for anyone - that’s been proven time and time again I don’t care how much experience Nagelsmann has got, he hasn’t managed United - Carrick has and he’s done exceptionally well in both his stints 1 year rolling deal - CL dependant Everyone knows the benchmark, the media can’t spin a pressure narrative at every misplaced pass Makes absolute sense ❤️💪🏽

Please. Only reason Carrick was able to manage some wins till now was because of the foundation laid by Amorim. The game against Chelsea showed how clueless he is and hence doesn’t deserve any shot at the United job

I'd take Xavi over Carrick. I'd love to see manutd dominate teams and win, with a chance of also giving our youths the chance to show the world their talent. Similar to Pep football. Chido Obi, Heaven, Yoro and co can become next big thing if mentored properly.

Piss off we've done this mistake before , give him the contract give him the contract remember that rio ?? Carrick has never managed in the champions league , hes doing a good job as a INTERIM thats it , his football is boring and he is not the answer so stop licking bum

Nagelsman won a bundesliga title at Bayern took Rb Leipzig to a Champions League Semi Final and is now managing Germany. Carrick has never managed another team in top flight football let alone a team competing in Europe

Ferdinand, our hero, I respect your opinion. Carrick has pulled us out of a lot of trouble and is about to take us back to the Champions League we’ve been longing for; we love him for that. However, I don’t think he is the right fit for the permanent manager position.

In a results based industry results are the most important thing and on that Carrick is succeeding but City and Arsenal are really the only two games where we've looked any good and probably deserved the wins. We can't luck our way through next season in 4 competitions
