Michael Douglas bullied 6 year old Ellen Latzen to get the desired reaction shot out of her for this scene in "Fatal Attraction" (1987). She was standing with "Uni"- her stuffed Unicorn doll. She was instructed not to speak. Michael Douglas came up to her and said, "Look at that stupid unicorn. I’m going to throw it in the garbage” and he started yelling. After he said that, she started crying and held the doll tighter. Director Adrian Lyne then yelled, "Cut". Michael Douglas immediately ran to Ellen, held her and said, "I am sorry". In an interview in 2017, Douglas said, ""I felt pretty guilty. But you've got to do what you've got to do." ("‘Fatal Attraction’ Oral History: Rejected Stars and a Foul Rabbit", Bruce Fretts, The New York Times, 2017)
