Neither of them knew they were about to meet a four-year-old boy that Michael would help save. His name was Béla Farkas, and he desperately needed a liver transplant. Michael learned how serious Béla’s condition was and couldn’t just walk away from it. He and Lisa Marie returned to see him, and Michael promised that he would help. Through the Heal the World Foundation, Michael helped pay for the treatment Béla needed. In March 1995, the little boy received a successful liver transplant in Belgium.
