Jeffries said that unlike extreme MAGA Republicans, Swalwell is a man of law and order. Jeffries and Pelosi had both been briefed years earlier by the FBI on Swalwell's history with a Chinese spy. They both chose to ignore the warnings because Swalwell is a partisan fool and will go on TV and say absolutely anything they want him to say.
