The claim that “blessing Israel blesses no one” because Galatians 3:16 identifies Christ as Abraham’s Seed is biblically false. It misreads Genesis, misuses Galatians, contradicts Romans 9–11, and ultimately attacks the covenant faithfulness of God revealed in Jesus Christ. The issue begins with the character of God. God does not lie, change His mind, deny Himself, or revoke His promises when human beings fail. “God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind.” —Numbers 23:19 “The Glory of Israel will not lie or have regret, for he is not a man, that he should have regret.” —1 Samuel 15:29 “If we are faithless, he remains faithful—for he cannot deny himself.” —2 Timothy 2:13 “It is impossible for God to lie.” —Hebrews 6:18 God’s covenants are expressions of His immutable character. He does not make promises and then preserve His reputation by changing what those promises originally meant. He keeps His word because faithfulness belongs to His nature. The Abrahamic covenant begins with specific promises: “I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” —Genesis 12:2–3 God makes several distinct but connected commitments. He will make Abraham into a nation. He will bless Abraham. He will bless those who bless Abraham. He will judge those who dishonor Abraham. And He will bring blessing to all the nations through Abraham. Galatians 3:16 addresses the final promise: “Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, ‘And to offsprings,’ referring to many, but referring to one, ‘And to your offspring,’ who is Christ.” —Galatians 3:16 Jesus Christ is the ultimate Seed through whom the nations receive salvation. That is exactly what God promised earlier: “In your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed.” —Genesis 22:18 Peter explicitly identifies Christ as the fulfillment of this worldwide promise: “You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.’ God, having raised up his servant, sent him to you first, to bless you by turning every one of you from your wickedness.” —Acts 3:25–26 Christ fulfills the promise that salvation would reach the nations. Galatians 3 does not say that God revoked His other promises to Abraham. It does not say Abraham would not become a nation. It does not say his physical descendants ceased to matter. It does not say God withdrew His warning concerning those who despise Abraham and his covenant line. The video’s argument takes one part of the covenant and uses it to erase the rest.
