Michael Oliver believes silver’s real move is only beginning, not ending. He argues that even the old $50 high from 1980 would equate to roughly $250 today using CPI, making much higher levels, even $1,000 silver, far less extreme when viewed against long-term monetary debasement. He also points to... show more

This guy has been wrong for years. I have zero idea why anybody listens to him.

All the oh so educated plonkers in the comments here - how do you explain all other metas including gold being many multiple higher that 1980, 2011 etc, but silver isnt? You think that situation will just... persist forever? In the face of structural deficits worsening? Really?

Michael Oliver has been wrong his whole life on price targets.

He’s been very wrong lately

This guys forecasts have been so wildly inaccurate I struggle to understand why anyone takes anything he says seriously. $500 by end of summer, which turned out to be $65. But don’t dare question him on it, he’ll just get aggressive and defensive. Now he’s calling $1000 silver…anything to get those clicks eh Michael.

Okiver js a fucking idiot

Michael Oliver is the best, you'll find out later

I don't care about numbers on a screen, and I don't care about their manipulations and lies. We are not selling our silver; on the contrary, we are acquiring more physical silver.

@jessebday Hard to follow Michael‘s work. Other than saying „short-term is noise“… where are we today with gold and silver prices? And what did he say where wpuld silver go by may or summer, 300? Yeah, thanks for the great advice.

Next prediction could be $1000 silver while it collapses below 55

And yet, here we are. $63

@jessebday Bloviating fool

Central banks bought 1,045 tons of gold last year and zero silver. No government on earth keeps silver in its vaults anymore, so the $1,000 case rests entirely on regular people carrying the whole trade.

It would be about $151 in today's money. The 2011 run-up would be about $72.

Michael jumped the shark when he updated his silver price prediction to over $500

and we're still dropping....but honestly...i don't know why we are basing price on a failing fiat dollar.
