@mlombardiNFL Are we sure Cousins at age 36 (as of August), is going to make it another 4 years, let alone 2? He’s aging, not the athlete that Rodgers or others are, and has had some injuries in his career. Just what IF, Cousins is hurt or retires in 2. Now you have an experienced QB

@mlombardiNFL Also if Penix was always the plan for Atlanta. You sign Russell Wilson for pennies and then transition to Penix. You don't spend $100 million for cousins. Atlanta had no plan this was "hey we on the clock ⏰ let's get Penix"
