It wasn’t a fucking interview, it was an announcement. This isn’t your standard GMA interview with an athlete. This is a fucking death announcement and you wanna discuss “he had to ask questions”. Have a little empathy.

Dan, you should have interviewed Diana Russini and asked some journalistic integrity questions.

You had the responsibility about talking about Diana Russini but you didn’t you because you felt uncomfortable

This is how they come at you when they feel you. Don’t qualify. This has nothing to do with Chris Johnson, Football, or ALS. This is Dan & the other guy digging at Strahan for not being a “Journalist “ by trade. Mad former athletes getting the jobs they want.

No one gives a flying fuck about football during that segment

lol yet yall haven’t spent 1 second on Russini. Miss me with your journalism standards sir.

Ok. So question. If someone come out and say they have Lung Cancer for the first time, do you think I should ask them how they feel that they smoked a pack of cigarettes a day? OR someone who found out the diabetic and we at the hospital like, “see, all those cookies you ate” ?

You're unhappiness makes me happy

Dan knew Diana was getting passed around by NFL coaches like a joint at a frat house for over a decade and never said a word.

You’re such a massive hypocrite. Russini was out there having sex for inside info and this is the journalistic hill you chose to die on? Jesus Christ man.

Only about 100 players in the study over 60 years of 22,000 players had ALS It’s a very, very rare disease. It’s probably more genetic than anything. It’s almost impossible to have a strong conclusion that Football was a dominant factor This is so wrong

White people have 0 empathy for humans and even less for black people so I’m not surprised by subhuman journalists being disappointed in Michael Strahan not asking a former colleague if he regrets doing what he loved because of a random disease attacking him.

No he doesn’t He’s an ex NFL player that was feeling for his fellow player It’s funny that journalists are criticizing a non-journalist for asking non-journalist questions It was a public announcement of a personal tragedy It was enough it was on TV

Hi my dad was Mike Webster (first CTE case in history ) . Obviously dad wasn’t alive when he was announced as having CTE , but if was and they asked him “those questions “ at his announcement, he would have been extremely offended . There is a time and place for that . Not here

Time and place is not when a guy is announcing to the public that he has a terminal diagnosis

Who gives a fuck about Michael strahan being a generalists or not or why didn’t he a ask a football question because the point of the interview was bigger then that it was bringing awareness to ALS

Why the fuck would Strahan ask him if he regret playing football because of research YOU did ?

Hey how's Diana doing, she good?

That is the kind of predatory, disgusting question that most of the media would indeed ask. No respect for that patient’s peace of mind or well-being or his family sitting near him, just dig in and torment him over something he can’t change now.

You’re an absolute idiot. This was a story about CJ and his battle. If CJ thought football caused it, he would have said it. You’re a complete moron. And there are no stats that football is tied to ALS. No facts. At all.

A man just received a terminal diagnosis. HTF is useful? Really? Asking that question is how the interviewer makes themself relevant.

Tf would he ask a football question for? He been retired almost a decade. Completely irrelevant

You didn’t even want to talk about the Russini/Vrabel situation because she’s your friend lol shut yo dumbass up

Context is that it’s not an interview and clearly that’s one of the reasons Michael was able to recognize that it’s only up to Chris whether or not he wants to speak about it at that time . If he caught Chris off guard asking that question that wouldn’t have been cool .

Dan Le Bastard and Jeff Pearlnecklace - what a combination of losers.

This is so funny coming from this hack that was uncomfortable about the Russini situation. What an embarrassment

So Stephen Hawking got ALS from being an all American running back?

Dan fucking sucks so much man. There’s a weird segment of sports journalists who want to see the NFL not exist anymore as if it’d be some great thing for society.

lol this guy… Dan LeBatard has consistently been one of the worst ESPN personalities for years now. Terrible takes, terrible person.

Chirps at Strahan for not doing something but is silent on things involving Russini......make it make sense!!

“Its findings are ironclad” No, they’re really not. We shouldn’t gloss over scientifically illiterate people larping

The question that needed to be asked:

Y'all lost the plot... or your souls. You can wish he asked a certain question, but maybe when someone starts talking about not being able to hold thier kid or that thier "time is almost up" it's not bout football anymore. We all know football had somethin to do with it.

So Dan LeRetard wants to beat a guy down further who has already been given a death sentence? All for "journalism"?
