This little girl told her mom that she wishes she weren’t black and that she was white. The mother tells her that she is beautiful and that God made her the way she is for a reason. But she questions her on why she would think that. The mother is second guessing herself now. She says “As a mother raising three girls, this is the first time I've encountered something like this, and hearing it from my 5-year-old truly stopped me in my tracks. Despite believing that I built her up to be strong and to love herself and who she is, I stand here feeling stuck and saddened, questioning where I may have gone wrong. Children begin forming ideas about identity, beauty, and belonging at a very young age…..” I think she is a beautiful young girl. I hate to say it but she is probably being teased or someone is saying some very mean things to her. And I think the mother is doing a fine job and is trying her best. Little bullies and kids can be really nasty. My heart breaks for her. No kid should feel this way. What would you say to this little Angel to make her feel good and better about herself, to give her confidence?

They’re really trying to counter the reports that Poh and #MeghanMarkle didn’t get along, but you can see undercurrents of it. I think that Poh was probably a little too extra for the Douchess-she doesn’t like to compete for attention and Poh demands it. She’s outgoing, expressive, a little hyper and loud, and I just don’t think Markle vibed with that. Markle is terrible at hiding her feelings and controlling her expressions but I think that’s intentional. She wants people to know she’s unhappy, unimpressed, or doesn’t like them. It’s all part of her passive aggressive personality. Poh made Markle her own banana bread recipe, I don’t think she appreciated that, simply because that was HER thing. John Schlesinger on the mysterious power of actors like Julie Christie: "Interviewer: Julie Christie has a small part, and yet it leaves much more of an impact than the space it occupies in the film. What gives some actors such screen presence? Schlesinger: I think there is a mysterious process that goes on between a person and that piece of glass which is the lens. And I understand why a camera is considered an evil eye by orthodox Jews. I think it does take something from the person. Quite often after six takes or so, when you've said, "Right, let's move on," an actor will say, "Well, that was the one, wasn't it?" I'd say, "Well, I don't know until I see the dailies. Until I see it up on the screen. I don't know.'' And that's true. There is something mysterious about the whole process and how a personality is seen on film. There are actors who work because of their personality and who aren't that versatile as performers. The reason they're popular and famous is that there is something about them as people that makes them stars. And they aren't that different in different parts. Alec Guinness was a prime example of the opposite, of somebody who didn't exploit his own personality, whatever that was, and gave some wonderful screen performances. jannabi talking about #karina and their collab host: in aespa, karina was not the member that stood out a lot in terms of vocals. but her voice is very unique, and there's something that only her voice has, it has colour. i personally think karina has the pivotal voice that represents aespa's colour. so that's why i think that it was a very wise decision to bring karina's voice into the song jeonghoon: she sang extremely well. her singing was really good, and she's also incredibly sincere about music. dohyeong: we could really feel her determination for this song, so we're very grateful for her JH: she said she wants to really sing her favourite line well, so she attempted the recording several times H: what was the favourite line? 👥️ "a night sky and terrace" JH: she liked that part a lot and said "this is my favourite line, i want to try singing it better". and especially in the second verse, i gave a few descriptions of the song to her, asking her to sing the part with a bit more assertiveness and liveliness, and she comprehended it really well
