Next Saturday is the protest of the week. There will be a protest at the Wethersfield illegal migrant camp in Essex. It kicks off at 1.00pm in Colchester & moves to Braintree 20 minutes down the road at 6.00pm. The protests are in the town centres, not at the camp. Pro-migrant, anti-British Runnymede Trust & Care4Calais complain at "harrowing conditions" in the camp. In 2024 it had "1184 people seeking asylum who Care4Calais are currently providing services for, all are from a West Asian or African nationality. 91 (27.8%) are from Iran, 71 (21.7%) from Afghanistan, 32 (9.8%) from Eritrea".
