It’s bs. My husband drives 90 miles round trip just to go to work. I drive 30 miles one way just to go grocery shopping. They’re robbing us.

Also think of the increase to any truck delivering anywhere in MI, as in freight. Inflation printer for the state of MI. This is ridiculous.

The gas tax will remain in place, the additional marijuana taxes meant to fix the roads will remain in place.. Then they will add this tax on top of those. “To fix the roads” Vote Democrat if you want more taxes. 🙌

@ChairmanJTS We are already being charged for every mile we drive with the gas tax. People that have vehicles with lower mpg pay more per mile. If it’s only for EV’s that’s one thing if it’s for everyone you can bet your ass everyone will be paying more and more

How else are you going to pay for all the free stuff?

@shoesonplease More people will leave. Privacy reasons, how would you dispute the mileage if there was a disagreement, if self report you would have to keep track of miles you drove out of state if applicable. How would they charge out of state or Canada people using the roads? Many unknowns.
