I don't agree with everything he says but you must admit Mick Lynch knows how to get his point across. He's controlled and measured and he speaks sense to the working people. This new Labour Goverment don't want to make an enemy of him.

"Transport workers, or nurses, getting a pay rise, does not mean that the heating has got to be switched off for pensioners" Er , Mick sadly it does

It’s a class issue - it has nothing to do with race, religion or citizenship. It has everything to do with greedy Co-operation and their agents at the government.

I have no objection to Doctors, Teachers, Train drivers getting a well deserved pay increase. However, I strongly oppose to extremely over generous donations to overseas. I am a pensioner, my husband and I far from wealthy, just over the threshold. A Waspi, cheated once again!

i do not need WFA. some pensioners could do with more than £300 but many of us don't need it. |Stop being patronising and labelling us all as vulnerable, frail and poverty stricken. Some of us want to help everyone on low income

Hard to disagree with him. We've just found near 13 billion for what will likely be a corrupt and failed green energy plan abroad. We haven't even got our own energy sorted. How about give the 13 billion to UK pensioners to add solar panels etc.

Exactly the vast majority of pensioners were working class. Some paid into private pensions and were contracted out of the state pension. The vast majority get less than the living wage in pensions. And, they are on fixed incomes, still pay tax ... every penny still counts.

@JamesEFoster The government is not a household. Paying public sector workers more does not mean there's less money for pensioners. They are all political choices falsely wrapped as financial. The fuel payment decision is simply a choice.

What constituency does this bloke represent again, not sure I’ve seen him in The HOC before. Surely he just needs to stick to getting his trains to run on time, because he’s got plenty of improvements to be getting on with there!

@citizentommy The MPs expenses scandal should come to an end. They should have to pay for EVERYTHING out of their own pockets. That would fill a black hole the size of the grand canyon.
