Sure sure but you're not really retro unless you remember playing it like this: (weirdly I can still hear the sound just seeing the image)

Btw this game had a fascinating type of "dithered" texture filtering in its software renderer to make textures less blocky. I am not sure if this was used in other games than this and Unreal / Unreal Tournament back then.

So many memories, with my childhood pal we played hours of this game !

In 1998, I was 13, my father traveled to the U.S. for work and brought me many gifts, one of them Flight Simulator 98 with the Microsoft Sidewinder joystick. It blew my mind! 27 years later, I still have the joystick and it’s fully functional.
