MS Flight Sim now lol

people who flew using keyboards were legends

I spent so much time flying around the world with the Learjet and the Boeing. I really enjoyed it with my Matrox M3D !

Or this one 👀

Fly low and slow, son 😃

It all started here.

And to think, I was blown away with this back in 1985-86! Today's 2024, to literally land at a park 2 blocks away and walk to my home...it's insane!

First time I smoked pot (1998) and I played this for like 6 hours. I was locked in.

I'm literally flying FS2024 while watching this video

This was fun

One day when my tokens are aligned, I will have my @openclaw reverse engineer this game and auto fly itself!

Way older... but I had a throttle.

@tiikketmaster @KrazIIvan_ Where you flying first?

Hello Chicago 👋

if there was a Microsoft Flight Simulator (1955), that plane would look nearly identical

RIP Meigs!

@StansaidAirport good likeness of your airport !

Playing this game as a 10 yr old make me competitor of Flight Simulator in 2026

Bought it, played it. The year was 1997. Everybody was upgrading to Voodoo video cards. The cards revolutionized the gaming industry.

MS Flight Simulator 5 - when I was in the army, me and a good buddy of mine would set up our computers next to each other with a null modem cable between them and then plan out routes and fly them together. Another good friend of ours who was also into computers and gaming with chastise us and say stuff such as "you don't shoot anything, you don't kill anything, there is no score, you just takeoff and fly, where is the fun in that?" He just didn't understand.

Saudades. Simulei na época que era ainda em disquete. E rodava no DOS.

I always crashed that thing..

Used to spend hours playing this. Landing at Meigs field at night was something to behold.

Lol I remember those graphics. ✈️

@TraaaKe

That Cessna drone sound is nostalgia 101

absolutely beautiful graphics🤣

Talking about real CPU-bound games 😌

Such a throwback. The fighter jet version is also cool

Spent a lot of time here

It's just like the real thing! (though in 97 it probably felt like it)

Good Ol Meigs Field. The longtime home of the early MS Flight Simulator games
