@VP Except he’s conveniently overlooking the fact that Trump has used undocumented workers at his construction sites, vineyard, stables, and golf courses for decades.

@VP Didn’t Melania get an H-1B visa? What was her area of expertise?

@VP “shouldn’t be here in the first place” is uhh… telling

@VP Wait until he hears about hiring at Trump properties.

@tomwarren @VP Not only Microsoft All tech/banking companies in the USA, Canada and the UK

@VP And Microsoft is a prime abuser of OPT as well

@VP His boss approved it

@tomwarren @VP Finally

@VP indentured servants? doesn't he mean employees who need to stay in the job to keep their visas? He and Usha may hire indentured servants, but I'm pretty sure not a lot of voters do.

@VP We shouldn't be surprised. Since WWll it seems almost every major American manufacturer that became an industry leader through decades of loyal American customers ended up sending their manufacturing off elsewhere for profit.

Yes, @VP is right, but @JDVance underplay's the most important defect of the H1B/OPT programs. - H1B/OPT's only comparative economic advantage is "low rights/low wage" workers. It's tech's version of serfs. Add to that @satyanadella & @Microsoft ran it like Jim Crow. It's about human rights.

@VP Meanwhile, Dell received a $9 billion govt contract to supply….. Microsoft subscriptions

@VP @realdonaldtrump on board? Today he is giving @microsoft CEO @satyanadella the National Medal of Technology and Innovation, the nation's highest honor for technological achievement. Nadella brags in his own book how he used #h1b + green card to bring his wife over.

@VP Microsoft will sue and they will win.

@VP There are very few Americans with technical skills. The smart Americans go to Wall Street because of our culture.

@VP Start here ->

@VP So much for meritocracy
