Best part was when the presenter tried to use touchscreen on the MacBook and said whoops

Did they give the specs of the Mac? The emphasized 32 gigs of ram on the PC. The air starts at 8 gigs, goes to 24. Makes a big difference in memory intensive tasks which end of that they used. But Apple does need to get their M4 computers out soon.

The new surface laptop with 32gb of RAM costs $2099, the macbook air m3 cost 1k. Is thia comparison fiar? Why they didn't compare to a 2k macbook pro?

My guess is the mac example was using little/no apple silicon optimizations?

Are they plugged or unplugged? Is the program optimized for both systems? Are they using hardware accelerated for anything in the demo? Reviewers will have a great time, I can already see @LinusTech so ready! PS: are Intel/amd stock down?

Great. Now let's see how it performs on battery power lol

Did he really just used “with up to 32GB of ram ours is faster” as performance indicator against an entry level MacBook Air?

Lol quick find a thing our product can do better( nothing anyone will ever do as a customer ) and show it and say “ Hey see our product is faster at doing this random thing than the other product” xD

HOLY SMOKES! Apple's new MacBook Neo with the A18 Pro iPhone chip can actually handle 3D video rendering in Blender! It's over TWICE as fast as the M1 MacBook Air! Full Neo vs M1 Air comparison video is LIVE on YouTube:

Microsoft has the perfect MacBook Neo competitor with the Surface Laptop 13 but it's just a little bit too expensive If they can get it down to $600, that's your Windows neo competitor. At $899/$999 you're getting to MacBook Air territory and the Air is simply better

Friends, don't believe any misinformation regarding hot air rework stations being "too dangerous" for surface mount rework.. Hot air rework tools are designed for surface mount tech and it's a SKILL.. No ripping, no tearing, no makeshift tools.. just the right tool for the job.

Ozzy Trapilo and the #Bears rookies threw out the first pitch at the #Cubs game and did a fine job. Just not quite as stellar a job as I did when I did the same at a #Mets game.

Microsoft just dropped the new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop, and they are a massive upgrade. Here is what you need to know: 🔋 Insane Battery: The laptop now gets up to 20 hours of battery life. No more carrying your charger everywhere. ⚡️Insane Speed: They run on new Snapdragon processors. They are incredibly fast, smooth, and easily beat older models. 🔅 Better Screens: The Surface Pro gets a gorgeous OLED display options with brighter colors and deeper blacks. ✨ New Look: Thinner bezels, a haptic touchpad that feels great to click, and cool new colors like Sapphire and Dune. They start around $999. If you’ve been waiting to upgrade your Windows setup, this is finally the year to do it. Video Credits: Microsoft Surface YT

WHAT! Just stress tested the MacBook Neo's 8GB of RAM while multitasking and it DEFIES all logic! Despite the much slower SSD speeds which negatively effects memory swap performance, it barely slowed down a photo editing export. Full Neo vs M1 Air video:

The apocalyptic crowd says AI is wiping out every white collar job overnight. I don’t think it happens that fast. Companies don’t move that fast. That’s just the reality says .Mike Novogratz But here’s what IS happening right now. The engineers getting laid off from Amazon and Meta? They’re not updating their resumes. They’re starting companies. Two people. Claude Code. A laptop. And suddenly you have a business. We are going to see an explosion of new companies and new innovation that nobody is modeling for. The jobs aren’t all disappearing overnight. But they are disappearing. One weekend. One CEO. One aha moment at a time.

THE BARRIER BETWEEN A PHOTO AND A VIDEO NO LONGER EXISTS AND HEYGEN JUST PROVED IT. I uploaded a photo to HeyGen, and it came back as a video. I genuinely did not expect that to work. But it did. And now every photo in my camera roll is potential video content.

Andrej Karpathy says Software 3.0 makes the app layer redundant. MenuGen was built in the old paradigm: OCR the menu, parse the dishes, generate images, and render a new interface. Then Gemini did it directly inside the photo. The more work the neural network does, the less software exists between intent and output.

There is a war happening right now. Not between nations. Not between armies. Between two gods. The old god is money. Controlled by transnational capital. Printed out of thin air. Valuable only because everyone believes it is. The new god is AI. And the difference between the two is the difference between freedom and slavery. With money you still have freedom. You can earn it. Spend it. Ignore it. With AI as god — a small elite controls the system that controls your attention. A microchip in your brain that tells you when to wake up. When to work. Who to love. And you obey because you believe it is the voice of God. That is the real transition happening. One god replacing another. And the war in the Middle East is just the surface.

Bill Gates was asked live on air whether AI is a bubble. he didn't soften his answer. the man who built Microsoft and lived through every tech wave of the last 50 years. "it's a bubble only in the sense that not all of these valuations will go up, some will fall. but behind it stands a deeply profound technology that will reshape the world. there's not the slightest doubt about that" he added that the competition will be brutal and a share of the overvalued companies won't be worth that much, but the technology itself is nothing anyone should doubt. bookmark it and watch the full interview ↓

#BREAKING ❗️🇫🇷🇺🇦 French President Emmanuel Macron announced that in the coming days Ukraine will receive a new batch of Mirage-2000-5F fighter aircraft, as well as new surface-to-air missiles for the SAMP/T air-defence systems (likely ASTER-15s, and possibly ASTER-30s for ballistic-missile interception). ▪️ He stated that a new training programme for retraining Ukrainian military pilots will be launched, which envisages shortened timelines and increased training effectiveness.

A drone or a submarine? 🫧 A student just built a drone that flies through the air and swims underwater — and it actually works. As part of his Bachelor’s project, Andrei Copaci created a 3D-printed, hybrid drone with variable pitch propellers, meaning the blades shift mid-flight to adapt between air and water. Just a laptop, a printer, and a smart idea. The drone is fully custom-coded and transitions seamlessly between flying and swimming. We're entering a new era, where curious students can prototype what once took massive funding and R&D efforts.
