This issue is completely real. As a former government school student, I lived through this. Our mid day meals consisted of raw puris, uncooked potatoes, and bland kadhi chawal. When we voiced our concerns to school authorities, no one listened because we were 'just children.' To secure a better future for the next generation, we must hold the education system accountable. Parents and society need to inspect the quality of food being served and ensure teachers are actually teaching.
