ONE QUESTION - Why do Indian trains have a gap between the train and the platform? Why can't the height of the platform and train bogies be kept at the same level as in many foreign trains?

Tried travelling through So called Shatabdi from Delhi to Chd and on way back from Kurushetra to Delhi ! Totally @AshwiniVaishnaw disappointed! As a minister , First KPI for Railway need to be train timing accuracy ( considering Safety is non negotiable)! Railway lack big time on this matrix ( Time punctuality) . If a train starting New Delhi or Kurushetra cannot even start on time , that is pathetic affair being run from a ministry ! The whole narrative around Bullet Train is not leading to anywhere ! IF YOU ARE CAPABLE LEADER, FIRST FOCUS ON RUNNING TRAIN ON TIME …. Otherwise , u r just a good talkative spokesperson & India has plenty of those ! ( & believe me, I m not going on other side of Railway operation )

हां बिल्कुल इसमें कोई संदेह नहीं है प्रति KM 2.40₹ रूपए हीं रखें हैं और इसमें खाना भी मिलेगा 100-150 KM कम से कम travel journey रखें। जैसे वाराणसी से प्रयागराज कोई जाना चाहें तो इसमें टिकट लेकर जा सकता है
