MIDNIGHT MASS (2021) is ridiculously underrated. Mike Flanagan somehow made a horror series where the scariest parts aren’t even the supernatural stuff. It’s the way ordinary people slowly convince themselves that something monstrous is actually a miracle.

It's his masterpiece. Its too deep and meaningful for the masses though. I've re-watched it so many times. The cut from Riley smiling to the screaming into the credits. This scene was flanagan going god mode. Also the death discussion. Faith v science. Unreal

I loved Midnight Mass. Hamish Linklater blew me away. I had only seen him in the sitcom The Crazy Ones and wasn't expecting such a melancholy performance.

3rd in line after the haunting of bly manor and the haunting of hill house. all 3 of them among the best of all time, if not THE. mike flanagan is a genius.

Midnight Mass is on Netflix if you didn't get a chance to watch yet, it's definitely worth a midnight all nighter.

I loved it. What a great cast.

This is my vote too. Just that it’s a limited series so I didn’t put it.

Best horror story I’ve ever seen onscreen. It has so much to say. Or really stays with you

When I was going through cancer and facing my own death I kept thinking of this scene. Speaking for myself, I hope death is a returning home that we always knew but never saw. But I fear that it is just an end. An end celebrated with half finished sheet cake, and a service.

The best series hands down!!

Breathtaking. Brilliant. Up there with Life of Chuck as his very best work.

Yes, this! I also think The Fall of the House of Usher is an absolute masterpiece and so underrated.

Phenomenal show. If I see one more person bitch about the monologues... That scene of the two of them talking about death and what's after is so damn beautiful.

EPIC❣️❣️❣️ Unbelievably religious folk were manipulated so, so easily by an evil force in ‘Midnight Mass’. Funny how evil manipulates with easy when woven into religion.

Essa cena é impressionante, nunca sai da cabeça e os créditos subindo com os gritos da moça.

I am a HUGE FAN of Midnight Mass and have re-watched it several times. So well written, cast, acted, directed, produced....the whole limited series was spectacular.

The Haunting of Hill House (2018) is one of the most emotionally layered and rewatchable horror series ever made. Mike Flanagan used ghosts not just for scares but as metaphors for grief and memory. It’s as heartbreaking as it is terrifying.

.Ben Shapiro plays the viral clip where Tucker gets caught in a lie, but then he points out that these “little” lies aren’t the worst of it. Even worse is the demoralization op of the left and the “Horseshoe Right”- an effort to convince us that our country is rotten to the core. “The bigger lie is the lie that he is propagating – it’s a lie that the left is also propagating. It’s a lie that America is a terrible place that’s filled with nefarious forces beyond your control that are actually in control of your life and wrecking America.”

Fer and David can keep pretending nothing is happening… but THAT look just gave everything away. That’s what makes this scene hit. Before anything actually happens, you can already tell both of them know exactly where this is heading. The hesitation. The silence. The way they look at each other. It’s that painfully obvious moment where two people are trying to convince themselves they don't feel something that the audience has already figured out. And when they finally stop fighting it, the payoff feels earned. The kiss wasn't even the best part. It was watching two people realize they couldn't keep pretending anymore. That tension was doing all the work.

This is actually the best dance in Horror cinema. Vanessa Ferlito as Arlene in Death Proof...the confidence, the music, the way she owns that bar… absolute cinema. Stuntman Mike never stood a chance. Change my mind!

Matt Goodwin actually said on a podcast that ordinary people are too stupid and incapable of running Britain and that the only way to fix Britain is to have a bunch of former Tories in charge. Don’t believe me? Here’s the clip. Even by Goodwin’s standards this is tone deaf.

Let me be honest about something. Most Nigerians do not actually have a problem with the grant the First Lady announced. The problem people have is with who said it. And that is the most dangerous kind of thinking. When you hate the messenger so much that you reject the message even when the message is right. That's hate And I have been watching the opposition space closely. I barely see constructive criticism anymore. Show me where the roads should go. Show me a better economic model. Show me an alternative that makes sense. What I see instead is people waking up every morning looking for something to be angry about. Anything Tinubu does is wrong. Anything his wife says is mockery. Even a direct cash grant to the poorest Nigerians somehow became a joke. And the saddest part is most of these people are not even thinking for themselves. They are just following the mob. So they hate everything connected to Tinubu. Even the things that would have helped them.

American culture is good, actually. Bringing in a massive number of people for cheap labor is bad. “This idea of mass immigration, whether it’s illegal… or just mass immigration through the legal process… that is not conducive to assimilating people into American society.”

⚡️ “Widow’s Bay” absolutely dominated the Emmys — taking home 14 awards Apple’s comedy-horror series set a historic record for the most Emmys won by a comedy in a single year. The show took the top prize for Outstanding Comedy Series, along with awards for writing, directing, and acting. The plot is already wild enough on its own. A cowardly mayor of a tiny island tries to save the local economy by bringing in tourists. It works. The problem is, the locals were apparently right about the island being cursed — and once the visitors arrive, all kinds of supernatural horror start crawling out of the woodwork. The vibe is a mix of black comedy, folk horror, and that eerie small-town feeling where something is very, very wrong. Apple has already renewed the series for a second season. All 10 episodes of Season 1 are available on Apple TV.

What makes this scene interesting is the tension that builds through the smallest details. Nothing needs to be said directly…the looks, body language, and sudden shift in attention tell the story. There’s a playful jealousy underneath the moment, turning an ordinary interaction into something much more personal. It’s a good reminder that sometimes jealousy reveals feelings that people aren’t ready to admit. 🔥

Iran is a regime that can't be trusted, and it’s certainly demonstrating that right now. If Operation Midnight Hammer didn’t convince the Ayatollah that President Donald J. Trump is serious, then additional measures may be necessary. The only realistic way to enforce any nuclear agreement would be through a very transparent process. Even then, it’s hard to imagine the Iranian regime becoming part of the civilized world, given that it remains controlled by religious zealots—a reality we cannot afford to ignore.

The frustrating things about these non takedown calls is that they’re getting them right on the mat and somehow talk themselves through out of what we know is a takedown. Angelo has three here and you can’t convince me otherwise.
