Absolutely, and also consider that the F-86 was armed with the AN/M3 variant of the Browning .50 cal, so the weight of fire of its six-gun battery was equivalent to about ten of the guns carried by the P-47 and P-51

That’s 50 caliber fire hitting the Mig tearing it up yet the Mig carried cannon shells itself that did far more damage with less rounds, as air combat dog fights in Korea was a highly dangerous practice especially if both pilots were also WWII aces.
