You might not believe me but the 3D in this video was procedurally generated using Claude Code in blender. The main things I manually worked on were some texture changes as well as lighting and compositing/colorgrade in post later super cool that ai can help with stuff like this now, especially for a process that would usually take multiple days or even weeks if done traditionally Lmk if you'd want a guide on my process / how I did this

This is my submission for the February, 2024 lighting challenge in Academy Of Animated Art. Animated by Courtney Oberbeck. I handled the #LookDev, #Grooming, #Shading, #Environment, #Lighting and #Compositing. Rendering was done in #Cinema4D and #Arnold, with compositing in #Nuke. The majority of props and materials were sourced from the Quixel and Greyscalegorilla. Hope you like it and let me know what you think in the comments. The full breakdown you can see here -

I just realized that there are no dedicated Shin-chan sakuga accounts on here. Crayon Shin-chan has lots of well-animated scenes (especially in the movies), so I'm surprised no one has done it yet. I might step up to the plate and make one myself

This reminded me of something RB (and Mercedes as well) had done near the end of 2021 where they left pit cables out (and in some cases team members themselves) on purpose just to try and make the pit entry/exit that little bit narrower, like shown here

Yet another scene that would make #AI bros cry… This one was entirely hand drawn with key frames and main in-betweens done by me. It was my first episode as a director and I wanted to show what could be done with the show in terms of dynamic action. This episode paved the way for all of the #FairlyOddParents movies and established that we COULD, in fact, have big action sequences. It also established me as the “action guy for comedy shows.”
