Might be the best pass I've ever seen.. 🐐 🪄 ✨

The GOAT.. easy to admit even as a flyers fan

Best there is. Best there was. Best there ever will be.

Last game of 96-97 regular season. Sunday afternoon. The only good moment from that game, as I recall.

Pure filth

Wizardry

utterly stupid … he just glided so effortlessly out there … miss watching him play every day #66Forever

Joe Thornton did a similar one to Marleau like 10 years ago. Unconscious brilliance.

Yea that was sick

And the fact he schooled a guy just before it, you could be right.

👀!!👍👍!!

@grok what year was this

A great pass but Gretzky to Coffey in the 1985 finals was even better. At high speed 😂😂😂

You, my friend, have never seen Pavel Datsyuk.

but but Mario didn't see the ice as well as _______ or ________ or _________

It is one thing to go behind the back, quite another do it and have the pass land exactly where it should. Right on the tape. He was something else to watch...

Proof Mario had eyes on the back of his head!

I was fortunate enough to see him and Jagr play several times. One game against the Bruins the Pens were down 2 with a minute in regulation. They ended up winning in OT. The atmosphere in the Igloo that night was electric. One of the best live sporting events I’ve attended.

Beautiful share

And the thing about it is, it wasn’t luck, he knew exactly where Eddie was going, he knew exactly where he needed to put it, drew some players to him and then threw an absolute fucking dart backdoor for an easy tap in. Not luck, skill…

Bourque on the ice again. He just can’t stop talking L’s from 66.
