This was my third Major, irl. And it increasingly gets harder not to love this game. Even harder not to appreciate the people around it! I’ll never lift a trophy. I’m not hitting 3000 elo either lol 😭 But that’s fine. Why? Cause every CS event reminds me that following your passion and putting in the work actually does pay off. So TeamYouTube DMed me earlier letting me know that their team was going to review the moments with the added context from my post here. I had hope… But after reviewing the extra context, they have stuck with their original decision. And then linked me back to the policy page which I quoted in my original post. Essentially telling me to look at the exact thing that tells me I broke no rules. I am frustrated and confused. I am essentially being told to look to a source of information which tells me I was fine. Please YouTube this is not okay, especially not even giving me a reason why it violates the TOS so I can avoid the same mistake in the future. This is not fair to any creator, to tell them they made a mistake and then refer them back to the thing that’s telling them they made no mistake, but still punishing them.
