"Migrants are not the problem. There has been a systematic campaign of scapegoating them" says Richard Boyd Barrett to the prior comments from Peadar Tóibín. "Not true. We should be able to have a conversation without trying to censor," he responds. #rteupfront | @RTENews

@rtenews Normal migration coming to work is not the problem its the mass migration of undocumented male migrants that is the problem and they know it

Meet Liam. School officials punished Liam for wearing a shirt that challenged the government’s narrative—a troubling example of free speech being censored. Don’t let your rights slip away. Get our FREE “Know Your Rights” guide and stand firm in your convictions.

@rtenews Yup, pit the disadvantaged areas against each other so the elites can gain of their backs. That the political ideology of FF/FG.

@rtenews Typical response from Boyd Barrett, the past is irrelevant. Ireland isn't responsible for the woes of the world

@rtenews You would swear every migrant coming here was fleeing the famine of 1845-1852. Take working immigrants in for jobs that are needed but ban social welfare opportunists and criminals from residing here.

@rtenews It’s the biggest issue for the electorate but everyone except Peadar wants to pretend like it’s not an issue. It’s the elephant in the room. RBB and Ivana were just short of calling Peadar ‘far right’

@rtenews Don’t dare compare the Irish who went to other continents and bust their asses working to the spongers coming into the country now, enriching my ass, taking liberties more like it.

@rtenews Unvetted undocumented single male migrants ARE a problem. Ask any female near one of their encampments!

@rtenews Richard clearly doesn't have to use suicide intervention like I do with people in huge distress on hospital lists with numbers increasing all the time & huge pressure on the healthcare system. He wants everyone to suffer while he props up neoliberal policies in his fantasyland

@rtenews Mass deportations ASAP of criminals and economic migrants posing as refugees and repatriation of individuals who never should have been given entry in the first place, that's a good start

@rtenews They certainly are "enriching" us alright.
