Migration is human. And when well managed, it’s a force for good. 122 million people displaced by conflict, poverty, and climate breakdown. How we manage it, how we protect people, stabilize communities, and offer real solutions for a world on the move, is up to us!

"We are dying from climate change." WHO 'Special Envoy for Climate Change and Health', Vanessa Kerry: "We're still going to have 1.2 billion climate migrants by 2050.... There should be 132 million people driven into poverty from climate change." "So this is an incredibly real crisis that we're facing, that is impacting human lives, impacting human well-being."

Human trafficking is a multi-billion-dollar industry that denies freedom to roughly 40.3 million people around the world. 25% of those people are estimated to be children. It’s time to RISE UP and protect the freedoms we oftentimes take for granted that many victims of trafficking are robbed of. Let’s unite and RISE UP FOR FREEDOM. Together, we can make a difference. Check out for how you can make an impact. Our Rescue

When we say we are nationalists, it is not because we hate other people nor other nations. It’s because we love our own people and put our nation first. It is a glorious thing when we see good people around the world do the same to protect their home.

Cllr George Finch is an idiot. We need to be talking about climate change, how to cope with the problems it creates and how to slow it down. Climate change is driving up the cost of living, the price of food, the price of power, the price of insurance and it is killing people, leading to wars and migration. It is making us all a lot poorer.

The world is on fire. This is how we put it out. In our flagship annual overview, we make the case for US$47 billion to support 190 million people who need urgent humanitarian aid and safety.

From Afghanistan to Iraq, we have seen it time and time again, the US betraying the people it said it would protect. The US is not a force for peace, Trump does not care about the Iranian people and the US and Israel are not bombing Iran for peace.

Migrants are human beings and it matters how we treat people. Our communities are kind, but our asylum policies are not. Sending people by force to Rwanda is wrong. Today Kim Johnson & I are calling for a new approach that puts our common humanity first. #BritainAtItsBest

Heat is estimated to kill almost half a million people a year. We know what is driving it: fossil fuel-charged, human-induced climate change. Extreme heat is the new abnormal. But the good news is we can save lives and limit its impact.

Around the world, 673 million people still go to bed hungry every night. #WorldFoodDay is a call for solidarity across borders, sectors and communities. Let us respond. Let us come together once again, to build food systems that nourish people and protect the planet.

If we want a government that is by the people, for the people, and a real representation of the people, we’ve got to show up. Go Vote. #NolanWells

As gay people we have a lot of Childhood trauma because of how we were taught by the world and society that being gay is wrong. The world wanted us to conform to a heterosexual mould and it traumatized us and created self hate. We now have to be transformed by renewing our minds

Today, we celebrated a win for our community. Led by Kelly Harrington, people stood together and saved the pitch. That is people power. Communities can win. We want the earth for our communities: homes, playing fields, opportunities and real choices. Nothing less.

"We do need to address the challenge of migration. When it is well managed and regulated, migration can help to drive economic growth and opportunity for all. However, we need to deal with illegal migration. We have seen how illegal immigration into our country can put pressure on our public services and undermine our efforts to create decent work for all." - President Cyril Ramaphosa. Our mainstream culture is conflict-avoidant. There is the assumption that the less conflict there is in a relationship, the better it is. I disagree. If there is real intimacy, conflict is actually unavoidable. Because we are all different. The real indicator of health in a relationship isn’t the lack of conflict, it is the quality of our repair. It is the level of authenticity we can bring. That requires knowing how to be with conflict and disagreement, how to hold nuance. And it also requires practicing the art of repairing. Are we willing to show up and repair what we broke? Do we have the skills and capacity required for that? Avoiding conflict means avoiding truth and therefore avoiding real intimacy. This work is essential and transcends the personal. If we aren't capable of dealing with conflict in our own personal lives, it is no wonder that the world is in the state it is, where the most prevalent conflict management strategy is escalation.

Google searches for “brain health” have nearly doubled in the last five years, and people are increasingly hungry for solutions. “If this decade is about obesity drugs,” said Dave Ricks, CEO of Eli Lilly and Company, recently, “I'm hopeful the 2030s are about brain drugs. And if you look at human suffering, that's the largest area.” The science is clear — we have a powerful tool to build cognitive resilience through daily behaviors: how we sleep, what we eat, how often we move, how we manage stress, and how we stay socially connected. Here is some advice I wish I knew in my 20s.
