From egg to butterflie. The entire cycle:

I protected/raised around 35 Monarchs this year. This one about to emerge from its chrysalis

This is the season "awww.... love it" magnificent! Cc: zombiesam

Onetime we were camping and they came through. Thousands of them! You could hear their wingbeats. One of the most amazing things I’ve ever experienced.

I have experienced EXACTLY THIS! Lived in Rio Grande Valley, on the monarchs' yrly flight path. They spent the night in several of my large oak trees. How the trees shimmered covered totally in monarchs as the sun set is something I will never forget. The memory makes me😭

@morgfair If you're in the path of their migration, help them by planting Milkweed and other plants they love.

Most Photoshopped video I've ever seen. Monark butterflies have been extinct since the late 1980's - global warming mostly to blame. Before then, they only traveled in groups of seven

million of Monarch Butterflies🦋

There's an IMAX movie about the discovery of their migration. Beautiful.
